Indianapolis, IN – At The Genius School, we believe that kindness is not just about being nice, but about choosing to care for others through our words, actions, and intentions. When our geniuses lead with kindness—by helping without being asked, speaking with compassion, and making others feel seen and included—they help create a school community where everyone feels safe, valued, and supported.

Each month, we celebrate students who embody our monthly Fruit of the Holy Spirit focus. For December, our focus is Kindness, and these outstanding geniuses have shown us that kindness has the power to uplift hearts, strengthen relationships, and inspire others to lead with love.

Please join us in celebrating December’s Geniuses of the Month!

Jarvis — Preschool

Jarvis is a genius student who shows kindness every day at school. He gladly shares with his classmates, helps others when they need it, and uses kind, encouraging words. Jarvis’s friendly and caring nature helps make the classroom a happy, safe, and welcoming place for everyone. By leading with kindness, Jarvis shows others how to be respectful and caring, helping every student feel important, valued, and loved at school.

Julius — 3rd Grade

I see kindness in the way Julius interacts with others every day. If someone drops something, he is often the first to step in and help. When he notices someone having a hard time, Julius doesn’t hesitate to offer encouragement through kind words. He invites others to join him in play and makes an honest effort to be fair. I truly appreciate Julius’s kind heart and the positive example he sets, and I hope his kindness continues to spread to those around him.

Alec — 4th Grade

Alec consistently demonstrates kindness in his words and actions. Alec shows care for others, offers support to classmates, and helps create a classroom environment where everyone feels respected and included. Through his thoughtful choices and positive attitude, Alec leads by example and reminds us that kindness is an essential part of being a genius.

Major — 4th Grade

Major is kindhearted at his core and consistently strives to do what is right, especially in how he treats others. He shows kindness by making those around him feel comfortable, welcome, and valued. Major’s generosity shines through in the thoughtful gifts he loves to give to both school staff and his peers. He is intentional about showing up for the people he cares about and consistently exemplifies the true spirit of kindness in our school community.

Ethan — 4th Grade

Ethan consistently shows what it means to live with kindness. Ethan helps others without being asked, speaks with respect, and contributes to a positive, welcoming classroom environment. His actions make those around him feel valued and supported, and he inspires others to treat each other with care. Ethan leads by example and reminds us that kindness is a powerful way to show our genius every day.
