We require a $25, non-refundable application fee.

The Admissions Committee carefully reviews each application. While grades and test scores are important considerations, the review committee looks at each child holistically. When reviewing applications, the committee will consider academic growth and success; school attendance; involvement in extracurricular activities such as sports, arts, and/or community service; behavior records and social development; cultural alignment, and character references. The Genius School does not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation or disability in its admissions policies or practices. We encourage all interested families to apply.

All geniuses applying to The Genius School are required to submit a birth certificate and immunization record.

While The Genius School will request each students previous school records when applicable, it can help to expedite the review process if parents submit the following documents with the application:

• • Last Report Card
  • Current Attendance Record
  • Discipline/Incident Report
  • Letter of Recommendation from Teacher, Principal, Athletic Coach, Counselor, or Mentor (optional)

If your genius will be entering Pre-K, we require that they participate in a readiness assessment.

The admissions review process takes approximately 3 to 5 business days.

Families will be notified of admission decisions once the review committee concludes and a decision has been rendered.

If you are extended an offer to The Genius School there is a $100 enrollment fee due at the time enrollment forms are submitted via FACTS. This fee will be credited toward total tuition costs.

The Genius School proudly accepts the Indiana Choice Scholarship Voucher to assist families with tuition.

If you indicated interest in applying for the Choice scholarship during the enrollment process, The Genius School business office will provide more information regarding the scholarship application.

Your last year’s tax return will be required to qualify and apply for the Choice scholarship.
