October’s Geniuses of the Month at The Genius School beautifully embodied our Fruit of the Spirit focus — Peace. Through calm words, patient hearts, and gentle leadership, these students showed what it means to be true peacemakers. Whether resolving conflicts, encouraging teamwork, or simply spreading calm through their presence, they help create classrooms where everyone feels safe, supported, and loved. Their actions remind us that peace is not the absence of chaos, but the presence of order — and that with peaceful hearts, our Genius community continues to grow stronger together.

Every year around this time, as the days grow shorter, we see it happen. More absences. More coughs. More fatigue. It’s not random — it’s biology, and much of it is preventable.

From pandemic disruption to perfect proficiency — 100% of The Genius School’s 3rd graders and 2nd graders (enrolled all year) passed IREAD-3. These students began their school journeys during COVID, yet through our Genius Groups, Science of Reading-aligned instruction, and whole-child approach, they’ve closed the learning gap and set a new standard for literacy success.
