From pandemic disruption to perfect proficiency — 100% of The Genius School’s 3rd graders and 2nd graders (enrolled all year) passed IREAD-3. These students began their school journeys during COVID, yet through our Genius Groups, Science of Reading-aligned instruction, and whole-child approach, they’ve closed the learning gap and set a new standard for literacy success.

In the face of alarming academic gaps across Marion County, The Genius School is proving what’s possible. With a focus on mindfulness, emotional regulation, and data-driven instruction, students are not only growing — they’re outperforming expectations. In year one, 88% met their Math growth goals and 85% met ELA goals, with many exceeding them.
