Our Toys for Tots Drive: A Community Effort
Indianapolis, IN – Over the past few weeks, students, families, and staff at The Genius School worked together to support the Toys for Tots program. By the end of the drive, our school community had collected over $500 worth of toy donations to help children in need during the holiday season.
Students helped bring in toys from home, organize donations, and prepare everything for delivery. Along the way, teachers talked with students about why giving back matters and how small actions can help others.
One of the most meaningful parts of the drive was watching students take ownership of the project. Many checked the donation area daily, excited to see how much it had grown and proud of the role they played.
The donated toys will be distributed through the Toys for Tots program to families in the Indianapolis area. A photo of our students standing with the collected toys captures the pride and care they showed throughout the process.
We are grateful to every family and staff member who contributed. This effort was a reminder that when our community works together, we can make a real difference—even in simple ways.
Be Part of the Transformation
